Our Team

Prior to starting work as an Accountant for Lexington Building Supply in 1991, Tina began her career upon graduation from the University of Kentucky as a Staff Accountant for Ernst & Young.

Tina has worked over half of her life for Lexington Building Supply and although her education and training are in accounting & business, she enjoys helping at the front counter and in dispatch on occasion. If she ever learns to drive the forklift, you might find her in the yard working orders.

Tina enjoys spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and is very active in her church. Her hobbies include flower gardening and floral design.

Bob was born and raised in Huntington, West Virginia (GO HERD). He landed in Lexington, Kentucky in 1985 with a framing and homebuilding background. He joined the Lexington Building Supply family in 1989 as a contractor salesman and is currently Vice President.

His favorite activities are kayak tournament fishing and reading. Bob has been married to Gesela Flesher Brown for 45 years (LUCKY GIRL). His daughter Natalie lives in Atlanta and his son Charlie lives in Lexington.

Ralph was born and raised in Winchester, Kentucky, where he resides today with his wife Anita. Ralph started working at Lexington Building Supply many years ago as Dispatcher. Ralph currently is a contractor salesman.

Ralph enjoys spending time with friends listening to music.  His greatest source of joy is his family and spending time with them.

Cherie joined the Accounting Department at Lexington Building Supply in February 2022. Her work background has included the field of banking, as well as, various independently owned businesses as an office manager and bookkeeper.

Cherie enjoys gardening, reading and crafts. She also enjoys travel and seeing natures landscapes throughout the country.  She hopes to RV travel and visit our National Parks.

Mike grew up in Georgetown, Kentucky and still lives there with his wife and three children. He attended college and studied Machine Drafting and then Architecture Technology.

Mike has been with LBS in Architectural Sales for 13 years with a 5-year stint in the middle at Home Depot. He was the Manager of the Window and Door Department at Home Depot.

Mike loves to fish, hunt and cook. Ask his coworkers about his smoked brisket. Spending time with his family is most important next to church.

Caleb was born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky. Caleb is a proud graduate of Lafayette High School and LCC where he graduated with a degree in Architectural Technology.

Caleb’s father is a retired architect, so Caleb has been around construction his entire life. He began working as a laborer on commercial construction sites when he was 13. He then worked part-time in the Hollow Metal Shop at LBS in 2004 when he wasn’t attending college classes. Caleb now works at the beginning phase of the process, estimating, quoting, and ordering hollow metal doors and frames, and hardware.

During Caleb’s free time, he enjoys watching the Kentucky Wildcats, bass fishing and hunting.  Most of his time is spent driving to the ballpark and watching kid’s sports.  His summer weekends are spent at the lake on the boat, swimming and fishing.

Randy has over 20 years in the lumber business, starting out in Paintsville, Kentucky (F.S. Vanhoose Lumber Co.) before relocating with his wife and son to Lexington. He is currently a Window Specialist with Lexington Building Supply.

Randy enjoys assisting customers with their window selections whether it be Marvin, Jeld-Wen or Silverline.  He enjoys good music and good friends, but loves his church and family.

Larry was born in South Dakota, but also lived in California, Ohio and Kentucky.  Larry spent several years in the National Guard which sent him from Alaska to Germany and a few places in between.  He is our Lead Estimator at Lexington Building Supply utilizing a computerized estimating system. 

In his downtime Larry loves to hang out with his family, hunt, fish and do some serious white- water rafting.

Ted Clift grew up in Texas and Lexington, Kentucky.  He previously worked in the plumbing trade, and for Central Kentucky Supply before joining LBS over 20 years ago. Ted is a versatile team member and fills in as truck driver and yardman when needed.

When he is not working, Ted enjoys deer hunting, fishing, and doing things with his family.

Randy has an outstanding 43 years of experience in this business and with Lexington Building Supply. He has experience in almost every area of the company from working in the yard to driving delivery trucks and contractor sales. His current position is Inside Sales Support and Purchasing.

Randy enjoys outdoor activities including golf, fishing, and camping.  He is also a big college football fan.

Patrick has close to 15 years of experience in this industry and has dabbled in just about every position there is at Lexington Building Supply. He was born and raised in Winchester, Kentucky and currently lives there. Somewhere between then and now he quit his job on a whim and moved to Charleston, South Carolina, where he spent close to a decade and met some great people.

Patrick has been back in Kentucky seven years now, and has worked at LBS that entire time. Outside of work, Patrick is a self-described homebody who gets out for kayak trips and live music shows.

James McDowell (a/k/a JAM) has over twenty years with Lexington Building Supply. He started in the Yard pulling lumber. He has worked in the Door Shop, Warehouse, as Yard Foreman and Dispatch. His current position is Inside Sales.

James enjoys being with family and friends, traveling the Gulf Shores and college football. He says, “Show me a grill and we are going to have a BBQ!”

Dee grew up in Manchester, Kentucky on the family farm growing tobacco.  His family instilled in him a strong work ethic.  It is this work ethic that fueled a 56 year career as an Outside Salesperson.  Dee started his career at Central KY Supply and retired as a full-time salesperson from LBS in 2019.  Upon retirement, Dee now works part-time as an Estimator.

When Dee isn’t working, he enjoys taking care of his property.

Gary is an Outside Salesperson for LBS. He has over 46 years of experience in the building material business.  He started his career with Central Kentucky Supply in 1977 and joined LBS in 1993.

Gary and his wife of 42 years have 3 daughters. He enjoys spending time with his grandkids. His other interests include golf and horses.

Daniel was born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky and is one of seven children. He is also the proud father of three daughters.

He started working in construction in high school. Daniel worked at LBS from 1995-2001. In 2021 Daniel returned to LBS where he plans to stay.

Daniel loves to hike and fish. He especially loves doing both of those things at the same time. He is also a big fan of live music.
